Official 2020 Convention Announcement:
Pastors, Ministers, and Church Delegates are invited to join us in Kenedy, TX on July 10th, 2020 for the 85th Convention of the UPLCII. Due to the current health crisis in the nation, only pastors, ministers, church delegates, national officers, and women’s ministry delegates will be permitted to attend in-person. This single day of business will include:
– Minister’s Convention Business
– Women’s Ministry Elections
– Written Sunday School Department Reports
– Written YUFC Ministry Reports
– Credential Renewal
Dues:
Dues for Convention may be paid online here or in-person at Convention.
Minister – $20
Churches – $50
Additionally, we are delighted to announce that all other committee work will proceed remotely. Those wishing to apply for credentials will have an opportunity to do so remotely as well. Further information regarding credentials to follow.
For those who had already made reservations with the host Omni Hotel, you will receive a cancellation email from the hotel directly with no penalty.
Women’s Ministry Delegates and Women’s Presidents will be able to attend the Women’s Elections.

COVID-19 Protocols:
–All participants will be screened for temperature. Anyone with a temperature higher than 100.4 will not be admitted. Anyone who has been experiencing COVID like symptoms is asked to stay home.
-No Handshaking and Hugs, please.
-Participants will be sat at an appropriate distance from one another in family units. And will be required to use the same seat for the duration of the convention.
-Wearing a face mask is mandatory for entry.
-Disinfected microphones will be available for those wishing to speak on the floor of Convention.
-Convention Packages will be assembled by people wearing masks and gloves.
-Appropriate barriers will be in place at registration, as well as appropriate measures to limit to need to register in close contact. Pre-registration will be available online until July 8th, 2020 at Midnight.
-Hand sanitizer will be available at various stations.
